The Selection Advisory Committee (SAC) met via email on March 31, 2020 to consider the following project:

Project: Project No: 7413.80; Engineering Consultants for Wyoming Boulevard Improvements - Alameda Boulevard to Beverly Hills Avenue

Agency: Department of Municipal Development

Two proposals were received in response to the Request for Proposals; only one proposal
was scored, however, because one proposal was incomplete since it was missing the
electronic version of the proposal and was therefore deemed non-responsive.

Project Description: Design and construction of roadway improvements to Wyoming Boulevard, from Alameda Boulevard to Beverly Hills Avenue, which includes reconstruction of the existing roadway section. The required infrastructure consists of paving, signing and striping, curb and gutter, medians, ADA compliant sidewalks and curb ramps, bicycle lanes, street lighting, storm drainage improvements, and potential utility relocation. The project scope is expected to require a traffic study, traffic counts, geotechnical reporting, pavement evaluation, drainage analysis, corridor street lighting analysis, SUE, public involvement, right-of-way acquisition, bidding phase services, construction management, and material testing, including quality control and quality assurance. Also necessary for this project will be for respondents to evaluate the possibility of a roundabout being installed at the Wyoming Blvd/Alameda Blvd. intersection to replace the existing signalized intersection, which will require traffic simulation modeling of the roundabout in a format that can be easily demonstrated to the City Project Manager and the public.
