The Selection Advisory Committee (SAC) met November 28, 2016 to consider the following project:

Project:                     Project No. 7963.13- Iron Ave. Storm Drain Improvements - Alcalde Pump

                       Station to 14^th Street.

Agency:                     Department of Municipal Development

                      Four proposals were received in response to the Request for Proposals.

Project Description: The scope of the Iron Avenue Storm Drain Improvements project includes the design and construction of storm drainage upgrades along Iron Avenue from the Alcalde Pump Station to 14^th Street.   This project includes the removal of the existing 60” diameter storm drain pipe and replacement with a larger diameter storm drain pipe in Iron Avenue to accommodate the full hydraulic capacity of the Alcalde Pump Station.  Additionally, the 66” intake line will be replaced with a 66” by 108” box section at the Alcalde Pump Station.  (Approximately 0.25 mile)

The Committee made the following recommendation:

1.  Wilson & Company

2.  Smith Engineering Company

                     3.  Thompson Engineering Consultants, Inc.

The Cover Analysis, Score-Sheet Compilation and Minutes of the SAC Meeting are attached.

Therefore, in accordance with Section 14-7-2-1 et seq, ROA 1994, the following is my consultant selection recommendation concerning the procurement of professional services for the above listed project:
