Tiffany Jiron is a proud Pueblo woman from the Pueblo of Isleta. She is a first-generation cycle breaker of violence and a mother to three young children. Tiffany is very passionate about sharing her story of survival in hopes that it gives others a sense of hope and empowerment. She focuses her time educating herself on the current trends to address violence against Native women and children actively.  Her advocacy journey began as the Supervised Visitation Assistant in 2014 at Isleta Social Services, where she later advanced in her career as the Supervised Visitation Coordinator. Ms. Jiron was also a member of the Board of Directors for CSVANW in 2019. Tiffany currently sits on the National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma, and Mental Health Advisory Board and the Board of Directors for the National Indigenous Youth Council. Tiffany Jiron holds a degree in Human Services and Social work.

 

A non-city resident, Ms. Tiffany Heather Jiron will fill a vacancy and serve as a Lived Experience-At Large representative on the Commission; her first term will expire on December 31, 2027.
