City of Albuquerque Labor-Management Relations Ordinance, multi-year Collective Bargaining Agreement with Prisoner Transport Officers

body

Pursuant to Section 3-2-19 of the City of Albuquerque Labor-Management Relations Ordinance, please be advised the Mayor has executed a multi-year collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with the Prisoner Transport Officers (three years).   A copy of the CBA is attached for your information. The Prisoner Transport Officers CBA includes salary compensation increases of 3.5% for FY/24 and a minimum of 3.0% for FY/25.  The CBA also includes an average of 7% longevity increase in FY/24 that was negotiated last year and included in communication to City Council on July 15, 2022.

Also as communicated to City Council in the July 15, 2022, correspondence, the CBA provides that bargaining unit employees may receive incentive pay or longevity, but not both

The economic terms above are subject to appropriation in the budget resolution process in and for each respective fiscal year. Adoption, acceptance, or approval of this Executive Communication by Council does not constitute a future appropriation of such funds.
