I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Human Rights Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 11-3-4-1 through
11-3-6.

Ms. Anami Dass December 31, 2025 Albuquerque, NM 87106 Ms Dass is a social worker specializing in harm reduction, transgender advocacy, and serving unhoused populations. Her in-depth research practices and evidence based approach to public matters has been present in her work with national and local organizations including the Transgender Law Center, ABQ Healthcare for the Homeless, and the the National Harm Reduction Coalition. While her work involves research and analysis of worldwide health and rights concerns, the majority of her time is spent doing street outreach interacting one-on-one with unhoused people in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A resident of Council District 6, Ms. Dass will fill a vacancy and serve as an At Large representative on the Board; her first term will expire December 31, 2025. |
