Mayor's appointment of Mr. Rodrigo L. Eichwald to the Balloon Museum Board of Trustees

I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Balloon
Museum Board of Trustees in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-4-5-1.

Mr. Eichwald is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years in the civil engineering field. He is currently the Engineering Program Manager for Bernalillo County. He is a lifelong west sider and a native New Mexican.
Mr. Eichwald believes that the Balloon fiesta is a wonderful event. Ever since he was a kid, he enjoyed seeing the balloons flying overhead in October. As an adult Mr. Eichwald would like to do his part to preserve the Balloon Museum and help steer it in a positive direction so that people can continue to enjoy the museum for many years to come.
A resident of Council District 1, Mr. Eichwald will serve as the Council District 1 representative on the board replacing Mr. Jeffrey (J.D.) Huss; his first term will expire on July 31, 2024 due to staggered term dates set in ordinance.
