Mayor's Recommendation of Architectural Consultants RMKM Architecture for Brillante Explora Early Learning Center

The Selection Advisory Committee corresponded via email on October 20, 2022 to consider the following project.
Project: Project No: 7011.95; Brillante Explora Early Learning Center
Agency: Department of Municipal Development
Project Description: Architectural design services for Phase 2 of Explora's Cradle through Career STEAM Learning Campus expansion project: Brillante Early Learning Center. This plan calls for a new stand-alone building approximately 20,000 square feet with 10-15 early childhood classrooms, offices and teacher work spaces, a kitchen, an art studio, a welcome plaza with space for hands-on exhibits, outdoor recreation areas, and additional parking spaces. This childcare and early education center must meet all licensing requirements and must reflect Explora's unique approach to science, technology, engineering, art, and math learning for children. The Center will include green space which will ultimately connect west to future development, Phase 3. Make sure to describe how you plan to achieve the outcomes including the performance metrics and targets against which your services should be evaluated. Additionally, we are interested in how you will include opportunities for innovation.
