ADJUSTING APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR OPERATING THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023, BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2023.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Albuquerque requires the Mayor to formulate the annual operating budget for the City of Albuquerque; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Albuquerque requires the Council to approve or amend and approve the Mayor’s budget; and
WHEREAS, C/S R-22-24, passed by the Council on May 16, 2022, appropriated the operating budget of the City of Albuquerque for Fiscal Year 2023; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution proposes to make adjustments to certain appropriations; and
WHEREAS, appropriations for the operation of the City government must be approved by the Council.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE:
SECTION 1. That the following amounts are hereby adjusted in the following programs from available fund balance for operating the City government during Fiscal Year 2023:
GENERAL FUND - 110
Family and Community Services Department
Affordable Housing 100,000
Of the amount appropriated in this program, $100,000 is designated for the Barret House Shelter.
Environmental Health Department
Strategic Support 100,000
Of the amount appropriated in this program, $100,000 is designated for the Community Energy Efficiency Project in partnership with Prosperity Works.
