I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Youth
Advisory Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 2-6-7-1.

Noor Ali (she/her) is a junior at Albuquerque Academy. She is passionate about the intersection of storytelling and social justice. In her time in activities such as Speech and Debate, Model United Nations, and an academic newspaper, Noor has developed a dedication to the power of public speaking. On the school level, she has worked to reform harassment policies and microaggressions definitions with the Student Diversity Leadership Council. She believes that change requires the action of the youth. In her free time, Noor writes poetry, sorts through bookshelves, and bakes cupcakes.
A resident of Council District 8, Ms. Ali will fill a vacancy and serve in an At-Large position on the Board and her first term will expire May 1, 2025.
