Mayor's re-appointment of Mr. Tushar Patel to the Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board

I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for re-appointment to the Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 4-4-13.

Before co-founding the TNJ Group of Companies in 1990, Tushar graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an Associates degree in Computer Science. Tushar leads the Investment Division with responsibility in hotel acquisitions, dispositions and repositioning. Under the guidance of Tushar, TNJ Group has conducted nearly two dozen hotel asset transactions and built over 60 hotels. Tushar continues his involvement and oversight in hotel operations with TNJ Management as well as hotel construction with 2 G Construction.
A resident of District 8, Mr. Patel will continue to serve in a lodging industry position on the Board and his second term will expire August 1, 2024.
