Transit Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Resolution 2-7-1-1.

Mr. Blair is 78 years old and has been totally blind for about 35 years. He has served in an advisory capacity or as a board member of state agencies or commissions for the blind in Texas and Georgia. He has also served as a member and as Chair of the New Mexico Commission for the Blind in 2001 and 2002. Mr. Blair was an adjunct faculty member of the University of New Mexico, Health Science and Library Information Center from 2013 to 2019. He was appointed by the U.S. Congress to serve on the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (from 1997 through 2010). His career included professional and management positions with IBM (1967 - 1997), the Medical Records Institute (1998 - 2005), and the Lovelace Clinic Foundation/LCF (2006 - 2012). He has his engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1965) and his MBA from Northwestern University (1967).
A resident of Council District 8, Ms. Blair will fill a vacancy as a mobility impaired member and his first term will expire September 30, 2022.
