I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Information Services Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 2-6-3-1.

Mrs. Catherine Nicolaou January 1, 2024 Albuquerque, NM 87122 Catherine Nicolaou currently works in the telecommunications industry. As the external affairs and marketing manager for a New Mexico owned rural telecom company, she works closely with state regulatory officials and government officials to promote the company's public image and business agenda. Catherine works closely with the company's CEO and GM to further expand broadband in the hardest to reach areas of the country, on Navajo land. Catherine will bring her expertise in the telecom world to work with this board in meeting its goals of being a leader in broadband resources that benefit the city, our communities and other industries that allow Albuquerque to thrive. A resident of Council District 4, Mrs. Nicolaou will serve as an at Large member on the Committee, replacing Mr. Christopher Schroeder, whose term has expired. Mrs. Nicolaou’s first term will expire January 1, 2024. |
