I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Americans with Disabilities Act Advisory Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Ordinance 2-6-5-1; 2-6-5-5.

Ms. Houlihan is a graduate of DePaul University where she earned her B.A.in International Studies with Honors, and the Monterey Institute of International Studies where she earned her M.A. in International Policy Studies. She is bilingual and speaks both Spanish and English. Ms. Houlihan has extensive supervisory and program management experience and is currently employed by The Hill Group, a contractor to the Indian Health Services Division of Diabetes Treatment and Prevention. In 2017, Ms. Houlihan was run over by a car while walking her dog. She lost half of her leg and was impacted by a Traumatic Brain injury and a spinal cord injury leaving her quadriplegic.

A resident of Council District 8, Ms. Houlihan will fill a vacancy and serve as an Individual with a Disability representative on the Board. Her first term will expire October 30, 2023.
