Albuquerque Museum Board of Trustees in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance

Ms. Chynoweth is an Albuquerque native, a graduate of St. Pius high school and twice graduated from the University of New Mexico. Her undergraduate degree is a BA in psychology with a distributed minor in fine arts and sociology. Her MA is in English (Rhetoric and Writing). Since 2017, she works for the Garcia Automotive Group as Director of Business Development. In that capacity, she has the opportunity to put her economic development, communications and marketing experience to work in service of the Garcia family's robust reinvestment in the Albuquerque area as well as their support of the arts and culture here and in Santa Fe. Ms. Chynoweth serves as the Board President of the New Mexico Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Vice President of the Board of Explora Children's Science Museum, and State Transportation Commissioner for District 3. Ms. Chynoweth has an abiding love for art in all of its manifestations, believing that appreciating it and witnessing it can be as generative as the creativity that produced it. She would be honored to serve the Albuquerque Museum in the capacity of Trustee as it would give her not only the opportunity to take a more active role in supporting the arts, but also to support keeping Albuquerque's history alive.
