Biological Park Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque

Dr. Collin Barnett March 1, 2023 5715 Lost Dutchman Street NE Albuquerque, NM 87111 Dr. Barnett has a Ph.D. in Zoology from UC Berkeley and has served on the faculty of Biological Sciences at Illinois State University, teaching ecology, evolution, and ethology. He was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship to conduct research in Germany and a NOAA Fellowship to conduct research at the Southwest Fisheries Center. In the second part of his career, Dr. Barnett managed engineering staff in the development of robotic vehicles at General Dynamics. Dr. Barnett will bring to the Board an understanding of animals, biological concepts, and educational methods. A resident of the City Council District 8, Dr. Barnett will serve as the District 8 representative her first term will expire March 1, 2023. |
