I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Biological Park Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque

Mrs. Alderete is a high school educator for Albuquerque public schools. She was raised in Las Vegas, NM but has called Albuquerque home for 15 years. She initially came to Albuquerque to work as engineer at Intel, but changed her career path to education. She is currently teaching Physics and Chemistry at Cibola High School. Mrs. Alderete and her husband, an attorney in Albuquerque, are raising three children and have made many family memories at the BioPark. Angela was also a BioPark summer Educator and wants to continue to integrate school curriculum with BioPark programs. Angela will bring her experience as an engineer, teacher and a mother to the Board. She is very dedicated and passionate about what the BioPark means to the state of NM and would love the opportunity to serve on the Biological Park Board.
A resident of the City Council District 5, Mrs. Alderete will serve as the District 5 representative and her first term will expire March 1, 2024.
