Albuquerque Development Commission in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance

Mr. Bill Miera is a humble Hispanic man who was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His family and Hispanic heritage go back to the 1600's. Bill put himself through college, received a Bachelor's degree with distinction in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master's in Robotics from the University of New Mexico. He holds a Certificate in Management from UNM's Robert O. Anderson School of Management and was one of the founders for the New Mexico Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

As the CEO/President/Owner of Fiore Industries, Inc., Bill is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board and other management to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Bill has the ability to lead a group in business development to grow a company and the City of Albuquerque. Bill has also worked with the ABQ Chamber of Commerce and Hispano Chamber of Commerce with Economic Development Opportunities.

A resident of Council District 4, Mr. Miera will serve as an At-Large representative on the Board, replacing Mr. John E. Mechenbier, and his first term will expire October 31, 2025.
