I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Accountability in Government Oversight Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Ordinance 2-10-5.

Mr. Emmons is a retired CPEA with fifty years of auditing experience. Specialized in governmental audits including villages, schools, and counties. He served as deputy state auditor for 13 months and now is presently chairman of the New Board of Public Accountancy. He is also on the board of directors of NASBA with his term expiring in October.

A resident of Council District 5, Mr. Emmons will be serving a partial at-large term, filling the remainder of the Mr. John Carey's term which will expire on September 1, 2021.
