Ms, Thackaberry is an Albuquerque native and is a member of the graduating class of 2021 at Volcano Vista High School (VVHS). She is ranked in the top 10 of her class, and is a member of the following organizations: National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hisp?nica (Spanish Honor Society), and VVHS All-District Orchestra. Ms. Thackaberry is also a volunteer/intern at the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center, and has spent her summers as both a Leader-in-Training (LIT) and Counselor-in-Training (CIT) at YMCA Camp Shaver in Jemez, NM. She currently plans to study political science and mathematics in college. Ms. Thackaberry brings strong leadership skills and a commitment to community and social justice that will make her an excellent addition to the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council.

Ms. Thackaberry, a resident of City Council District 5, will serve in an At-Large position, appointed by the Mayor.
