Ms. Theresa A. Carson is the President/CEO & Founder of the African American Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce (AAGACC). She is a retired Senior Manager of Supply Chain Integration at Sandia National Laboratories. Her responsibilities included over-site of Supply Chain's Policies; Training Program, Quality Assurance, Supplier Risk Management/Supplier Diversity Programs, and the Laboratories Procurement Card Program. She retired in March 2018, after 36 years of Service in the National Interest. She also served as a Procurement Manager supporting Sandia Labs IT and many of the Science and Research Groups.

Ms. Carson is passionate about her work at the AAGACC and developing economic growth within the City of Albuquerque. She believes, "Together, we can do great things and make a greater difference".

A resident of Council District 8, Ms. Carson will serve as an at-large representative on the Commission replacing Mr. James Strozier
