Attached for your consideration and approval is a proposed First Supplemental Agreement to add general fund monies to the FY20 Social Service Contract between the City of Albuquerque and Albuquerque Public Schools, which provides life and career readiness classes, job shadowing coordination, and mentoring for high school students enrolled in the Job Mentor Program.
The supplemental agreement will provide funding to APS Teachers that serve as Site Based Coordinators for the Job Mentor Program, a program between the City of Albuquerque and APS, which provides both classroom and on-the-job training in life and job skills. The Job Mentor Program has more classes and students that ever before and this requires more stipend monies for teachers coordinating the program.
The proposed First Supplemental Agreement adds Forty Five Thousand Two Hundred Three Dollars and Eighty Cents ($45,203.80) of general fund monies to the FY20 Contract between the City of Albuquerque and Albuquerque Public Schools for job training stipends, bringing the aggregate total of the Agreement to Two Hundred Three Thousand Seven Hundred Three Dollars and Eighty Cents ($203,703.80).
