Mr. Jason Marks July 31, 2024 4916 El Aguila Place NW Albuquerque, NM 87120-1009 Jason Marks, a 2004 graduate of UNM School of Law, is a licensed attorney in private practice in Albuquerque. His practice focuses on regulatory and commercial matters. He served as a Supreme Court appointee to the NM Bar Client Protection Fund Commission (2013-17), including two terms as chair, and served as a legislative appointee to the Insurance Nominating Commission. From 2005 to 2012, Mr. Marks was an elected member of the NMPRC, representing the Albuquerque area. As an NMPRC Commissioners, he was the founding chair of the Western PUC Energy Imbalance Market Group, and held other positions in regional entities. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Marks led a national healthcare finance consulting practice as a non-CPA partner in a public accounting firm, and also served as a vice president of a publicly traded company. A resident of Council District 1, Mr. Marks will fill a vacancy and serve as a Mayoral Appointee on the Board. His first term will expire July 31, 2024. |
