APPROVING GRANT FUNDS AWARDED FOR THE FY2020 CITIES OF SERVICE, EXPERIENCE MATTERS GRANT WITH FUND FOR CITIES OF SERVICE, INC. PROVIDING FOR AN APPROPRIATION TO THE MAYOR’S OFFICE IN FISCAL YEAR 2020.
WHEREAS, the Fund for Cities of Service Inc. distributed funds to the City of Albuquerque, Mayor’s Office; and
WHEREAS, grant funds in the amount of $30,000 for this purpose are available to the City of Albuquerque Mayor’s Office from the FY2020 Cities of Service, Experience Matters Grant; and
WHEREAS, the City of Albuquerque Mayor’s Office will utilize this grant to purchase educational materials and equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Albuquerque desires to accept these funds, which do not require a cash match.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE:
Section 1. That the agreement with the Fund for Cities of Service Inc. in the amount of $30,000 in funds is hereby approved, and its acceptance and filing with the appropriate official or office is, and in all respects approved.
Section 2. That funds in the amount of $30,000 from the Fund for Cities of Service Inc. are hereby appropriated to Albuquerque Mayor’s Office in the Operating Grant Fund (265) for Fiscal Year 2020.
