Advisory Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 2-6-7-1.

APPOINTEE NAME TERM Mr. Nicholas T Padilla May, 01 2022 11843 Native Dancer Rd SE Albuquerque, NM 87123 Mr. Padilla is currently a senior at Sandia high school with the class of 2020. He has lived in Albuquerque his entire life and loves it. He has been an active DECA member which is an International organization for marketing education. Through this, he has learned communication skills and the ability to develop solutions to difficult situations and now enjoys meeting and talking to new people. One way that he has been able to meet so many new and wonderful people is through volunteer work. He was awarded the Youth Volunteer of the Year award from the City of Albuquerque for upwards of seventy hours of volunteer work with YDI, Make a Wish, Roadrunner food bank, and many other organizations in his community. Making a difference for good is something Mr. Padilla truly cares about and wishes to continue in his community. A resident of Council District 9, Mr. Padilla will fill an At Large vacancy on the board and his first term will expire May 1, 2022. |
