I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Open
Space Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 14-13-3-7.

Mr. Donald Meaders attended and graduated from Los Alamos High School and Michigan State University with a Bachelor's of Science. Mr. Meaders has worked in commercial construction for 40 years as a carpenter and project superintendent and retired in 2010. He now works with small farmers building hoop houses, tool sheds, chicken coops, shade structures, and more while also continuing his work with Public Lands Agencies doing trail work and invasive species removal. Mr. Meaders is also a member of the Albuquerque Senior Center Hiking Group and leads multiple service trips each year within that group.

A resident of Council District 6, Mr. Meaders will replace Mr. Alan Reed, who has resigned his position, as an At-Large member of the Board. His first term will expire September 1, 2021.
