Mr. Rodney Bowe is the Director of Men of Color Initiative within the Division for Equity and Inclusion at the University of New Mexico. While in this role, Rodney has conducted planning, development and coordination of student support programing, special projects and initiatives designed to support retention, graduation and recruitment of underrepresented students. Rodney has been the recipient of the AMP Community Service Award, Outstanding Services Award for Education, and the Trailblazer Award Recipient for creating African American Student Day, all within the last 10 years. Rodney loves Albuquerque and hopes to utilize his talents, knowledge and energy to be an asset to any board or commission that he is a part of.
A resident of Council District 6, Mr. Rodney Bowe will fill a vacancy and serve as the Crime Prevention/Intervention/Finance Member. His first term will expire October 12, 2022.
