Albuquerque Development Commission in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance
14-8-6-2.

Ms. Mona Ghattas is a pharmacist and owner of Duran Central Pharmacy, and Remedy Coffee, in Albuquerque. She employs over 50 people. Ms. Ghattas is President of the New Mexico Pharmacist’s Association, and member of Albuquerque Economic Development, Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and the West Downtown Association. She is a proud Albuquerque native and graduate of the University of New Mexico. She strives to promote the betterment of her profession and this city whenever she can by staying involved and educated. Her unique position of being in the health care field and a small business owner will provide valuable insights to the Commission.
A resident of Council District 7, Ms. Ghattas will serve a partial term as an at-large representative on the Commission, replacing Ms. Rebecca Avitia.
