Scott, who was born and raised in Albuquerque, lives here with daughters Olivia and Amelia, son Noah, and wife Julia. He is currently directing in-district operations including constituent services and public engagement for Representative Deb Haaland, and has a diverse background in public affairs and management. After high school at St. Pius X, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Regis University in Denver, CO. Scott knows the City well, having served as Assistant Chief of Staff and then Chief of Staff to former Mayor Martin Chavez. In the course of his career he has he has managed successful campaigns for a diverse array of candidates at the local and state levels, and was the executive director of a statewide non-profit party organization from 2009 to 2013. He is an avid environmentalist, hiker, and advocate for the great outdoors and open space.


A resident of Council District 5, Mr. Forrester will replace Mr. Donald H. Couchman as an At-Large member of the Board. His first term will expire September 1, 2022.
