Reappointment of Mr. Edmund E. Perea to the Accountability in Government Oversight Committee

The terms of two members of the Accountability in Government Oversight Committee (AGO) are expiring on August 31, 2019. Per the City’s Accountability in Government Ordinance §2-10-5, it is the Council’s responsibility to fill one of these positions. In this case, it is the Law Enforcement position required under the Ordinance which states that
“…at least one member shall have a law enforcement or law background…”
The members are appointed for 3 year terms, and there is no limit on the number of terms they may serve.
The following individual is interested in continuing his service with the AGO, and his name is submitted as the potential candidate for the Law Enforcement position:
