Protection Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 2-6-8-4.

Alejandria Lyons is a community organizer working with CESOSS: Center for Social Sustainable Systems. Over the past four years, she has worked on several environmental justice campaigns and is currently pursuing a dual Master's in Community and Regional Planning, as well as Water Resources. A native New Mexican, Ms. Lyons plans to work with rural communities and farmers as a community planner after graduation. Her thesis explores the importance of preservation planning around South Valley acequias that may be affected by nearby manufacturing zones.


A resident of Council District 2, Ms. Lyons will serve as a City representative on the Board and her first term will expire August 17, 2022. Ms. Lyons replaces Ms. Suzanne M. Busch whose term has expired.
