Cathryn McGill, Founder/Director, NM Black History Organizing Committee has been involved in political, social and cultural landscape of the state for more than three decades. Having worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, McGill has a broad base of institutional knowledge about public administration and civic engagement. Her passion is arts-based and assets based community development as a means of including everyone in the process of creating and maintaining vibrant neigbhorhoods.
A resident of Council District 6, Ms. McGill will serve as a City Representative on the Committee and her term will expire June 30, 2020.
