Designating Areas Where Cruising Is Not Allowed.

WHEREAS, the Cruising on Public Streets Ordinance, O-05-104, Enactment Number 0-2005-039 became effective on June 15, 2005; and

WHEREAS, the Cruising on Public Streets Ordinance requires the City Council to designate by Resolution the specific street or streets in which cruising is not allowed.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE:

The following area is designated as a no cruising area:  the following streets and all streets located within the following streets: Copper Ave. NW from 1st Street to 8^th Street; 1st Street from Copper Ave. to Silver Ave.; Silver Ave. from First Street to 8^th Street, and 8^th Street from Silver to Copper Ave. 

The following times are designated as no cruising times for the no cruising area designated above:  8:00 o'clock p.m. every Friday until 3:00 o'clock a.m.  Saturday; 8:00 o'clock p.m. every Saturday until 3:00 o'clock a.m. Sunday and 8:00 p.m. every Sunday until 3:00 a.m. Monday.
