INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM January 13, 2022
TO: Isaac Benton, President, City Council
FROM: Timothy M. Keller, Mayor
SUBJECT: title
Mayor's appointment of Mr. Cameron Frigon to the Greater Albuquerque Recreational Trails Committee
body
I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Greater
Albuquerque Recreational Trails Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Ordinance 14-13-3-8.
APPOINTEE NAME TERM
Mr. Cameron Frigon June 30, 2024
Albuquerque, NM 87105
Cameron Frigon is the co-owner and head brewer at Gravity Bound Brewing Company, a relatively new brewery in downtown Albuquerque. He relocated to Albuquerque at the beginning of 2019. While his title suggests that his focus is on beer (and it is), he understands that the key to operating a successful business in Albuquerque is to create a culture that positively reflects his community. He hopes to bring that mindset if he is able to serve on GARTC.
As a frequent runner, hiker, and walker of our treasured city trails, Cameron understands the role they play in making Albuquerque a unique and desirable place to live and visit. He also understands that the upkeep and cleanliness of trails are vital to their perceived value to the city. Cameron hopes to make our trails more accessible and more connected throughout our city while serving on GARTC
A resident of Unincorporated Bernalillo County, Mr. Frigon will serve as the West of Rio Grande representative on the Committee, replacing Mr. Tyler Ashton whose term has expired. His first term will expire June 30, 2024.
