Approving And Authorizing The Acceptance Of Grant Funds From Bernalillo County And The State Of New Mexico And Adjusting Fiscal Year 2025 Grant And Capital Appropriations (Baca, by request)

APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT FUNDS FROM BERNALILLO COUNTY AND THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO AND ADJUSTING FISCAL YEAR 2025 GRANT AND CAPITAL APPROPRIATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Albuquerque has received a contribution of funds related to an intergovernmental agreement from Bernalillo County in the amount of $800,000; and
WHEREAS, the State of New Mexico grant projects approved by the State Legislature in the amount of $910,000 need to be authorized and appropriated; and
WHEREAS, the appropriations of these various funds to projects for the
respective purposes are timely and necessary for the City to serve its citizens; and
WHEREAS, appropriation adjustments for the operation of the City government must be approved by the Council.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
ALBUQUERQUE:
Section 1. That the Council hereby approves and authorizes the Health, Housing and Homelessness Department to accept the grant from Bernalillo County in the amount of $800,000. The submission and filing with the appropriate official and/or office is in all respects approved.
Section 2. That upon approval, funds in the amount of $800,000 from Bernalillo County are hereby appropriated to the Health, Housing and Homelessness Department in the Operating Grants Fund (265) for Fiscal Year 2025.
Section 3. That the Council hereby approves and authorizes the City of Albuquerque's Municipal Development Department to accept grants in the amount of $910,000 from the State of New Mexico and filing with appropriate official and/or office is in all respects approv...
