Ms. Jessica Sapunar-Jursich is committed to strengthening access to stable, affordable housing in Albuquerque. She believes housing is central to emotional, physical, and economic stability for individuals and families.
Throughout her public service career, she has advanced complex initiatives through strong partnerships, careful management of public resources, and consistent engagement with diverse stakeholders. Her work reflects a focus on accountability, collaboration, and measurable results.
Ms. Sapunar-Jursich seeks to serve on the Affordable Housing Committee to help shape policies and partnerships that expand housing access, promote equity, and deliver lasting impact for the Albuquerque community.
A resident of Council District 7, Ms. Sapunar-Jursich will fill a vacancy and serve as the Department of Planning representative on the Committee; her partial term will expire June 1, 2026.
