I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Youth
Advisory Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 2-6-7-1.

Abigail Baum is a student at Volcano Vista High School, a junior with a 4.325 gpa. She is currently enrolled in CEC’s Practical Nursing program for high schoolers and doing CNM math classes, starting in the fall. She is involved in her school as she plays basketball and golf for volcano vista, and is involved in National Honors Society, and French National Honors Society. Abigail is a city lifeguard at Sierra Vista Pool, and plans on working there for a good amount of time. Abigail is highly empathetic and cares deeply for the high school community and her neighborhood community. She is a treasurer for FNHS and understands the importance and need for teenage advocacy in our community and schools.
A resident of City Council District 5, Abigail I. Baum will fill a vacancy and serve as an At Large Representative on the Council; their first term will expire on May 1, 2028.
