Request Approval to Add Funds to the Professional Service Agreement (CCN# 2025PT00000832.1) with Chicanos Por La Causa to Operate Gateway Women’s Housing Navigation Expansion

In accordance with ROA 1994 § 5-5-19(A)(8), the Department of Health, Housing, and Homelessness is seeking City Council’s approval to add funds in the amount of $1,800,000 to the FY26 Professional Services agreement (CCN# 2025PT00000832.1) with Chicanos Por La Causa for the operations of the Gateway Women’s Housing Navigation Expansion. This approval will allow for the expansion to serve fifty (50) additional clients, bringing the total capacity of the site to one hundred (100) clients. The Professional Service Agreement with Chicanos Por La Causa will not exceed the total amount of $3,600,000, for the period of July 1st, 2025 through June 30th, 2026.
The Department of Health, Housing and Homelessness respectfully forwards this request to City Council for consideration and action.
