Veterans and Military Affairs Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Resolution R-01-325, Enactment No. R-2001-141.

Mr. Ehrig is a 17-year retired Army Master Sargent. After serving multiple tours in Bosnia and Iraq, Ehrig was medically discharged in 2008 from severe combat injuries and has worked in the nonprofit field building programs supporting Veterans and their families throughout the country for over twelve years. He has extensive experience in advocacy, aging, homelessness, program development and capacity building for those in need. He was a key player in the passing of two state and two federal laws to support Veteran families, as well as the development of eight state programs that have developed thousands of Veteran families throughout Texas. He is currently the CEO of the VIC, the only Veteran nonprofit organization in New Mexico focused on helping homeless and at-risk Veterans and families since 2005.
A resident of District 8, Mr. Ehrig will fill a vacancy as an At Large member of the Board, and his first term will expire September 2, 2022.
