Adopting The 2024 Action Plan And Program Investment Summary For The Expenditure Of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) And Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Funds; Providing An Appropriation To The Department Of Family & Community Services For 2024 U.S. Department Of Housing And Urban Development (HUD) Entitlement Funds (Rogers, Fiebelkorn and Baca, by request)

WHEREAS, the Department of Family & Community Services solicited public input in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Citizen Participation Plan and made recommendations on how the City of Albuquerque can meet community development, public service, affordable housing, and homeless intervention needs, and, those recommendations were incorporated into the 2023 - 2027 Consolidated Plan which was adopted as Resolution R-23-115; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Family & Community Services developed the 2024 Action Plan and Program Investment Summary for the allocation of funds received in Program Year 2024 that is consistent with the Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City has been allocated funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development of $4,278,318 in Community Development Block Grant, $2,302,248 in the HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and $382,105 in the Emergency Solutions Grant Program.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE:
Section 1. That the attached 2024 Action Plan, including the 2024 CDBG, HOME, and ESG Investment Summary included as "Exhibit A" is hereby adopted.
