title
Mayor's appointment of Joseph Greenwood to the Affordable Housing Committee
body

I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Affordable Housing Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Resolution
No. R-06-159, Enactment No. 2007-011.

APPOINTEE NAME
TERM
Joseph Greenwood
Albuquerque, NM 87102
June 1, 2027

Joseph is an alumni of UNM (BA in Geography), has worked in the non-profit field for a decade (food banking and wraparound services), and is a proactive volunteer housing advocate in Albuquerque. Joseph's interest in affordable housing came from extensive work on East Central and in many communities across the city (as a programs manager at Roadrunner Food Bank). Seeing the crisis of homelessness and the housing shortage lead to advocacy for housing, at both the city and state level (working with councilors, state reps, and other professionals).

Joseph will fill a vacancy and serve as the Low and Moderate Income Advocate on the Committee; their first term will expire June 1, 2027.
