Maria Gallegos is a retired professional from Sandia National Laboratories, where she built a career in budgeting, administration, and IT project management. Her work demanded strong organization, attention to detail, and a high level of accountability. She continues to apply these skills in her ongoing community involvement.
In retirement, Maria remains highly active in the local golf community. She is a member of several women's golf associations across City courses, including Los Altos, Arroyo Del Oso, and Ladera. She holds multiple leadership roles, including Handicap Chair, Treasurer, Membership Chair, and Play Day Chair.
Through years of active participation in City leagues, Maria has developed a strong understanding of the needs and interests of local golfers. She is committed to representing her fellow players and supporting the continued success and organization of City golf programs.
Maria will fill a vacancy and serve as the Arroyo del Oso Women's representative on the board; her first term will expire on December 31, 2027.
