We are pleased to submit the Albuquerque City Council’s State Legislative Program for the First Session of the 57th New Mexico State Legislature. The Intergovernmental Relations Committee at its October 9th, 2024, meeting forwarded the attached list of requests to the Council “with recommendation”. Three additional requests were included by the City Council at the November 4th Council meeting. The requests in the attached program were submitted by the City Councilors and represent their aspirations and efforts to join with the State of New Mexico to create state laws, programs and award capital outlay funds that provide for a just and equitable community. Fulfilling these requests  will help secure mental and physical health services, public safety, job and food security, a quality civic infrastructure and a thriving and sustainable economy for the residents of the City of Albuquerque.

Thank you for your consideration and support in this matter.
