Mayor's appointment of Ms. Susan Palmer to the Landmarks Commission

I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Landmarks Commission in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 14-16-6-2(H).

Susan Palmer is a retired attorney and a member of the State Bar of New Mexico. Susan did three semesters of art law and historic preservation law at UNM Law School. Susan did graduate studies in the architecture of Albuquerque, the architecture of New Mexico and Spanish Colonial architecture at UNM. Susan has volunteered with tours of historic houses and neighborhoods in Albuquerque. She is a former member of TACA. Susan has developed and given tours of the architecture of Albuquerque. Most recently, Susan has been a docent at the Museum of Albuquerque and Casa San Ysidro.
A resident of Council District 2, Ms. Palmer will fill the at-large position; her first term will expire April 1, 2025.
