Americans with Disabilities Act Advisory Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Ordinance 2-6-5-1; 2-6-5-5.

Dr. Anderson taught English and learning sciences at the university level before moving into supported employment services and community engagement for individuals with DiverseAbilities. He studies storytelling and its role in workplaces, culture, and everyday life. As a job coach and employment specialist, he has worked directly with people with DiverseAbilities and has seen both their achievements and the barriers they continue to face, in Albuquerque and nationally. Dr. Anderson is on the autism spectrum and has pursued his own path toward self-advocacy, which informs his approach to this work. He seeks to amplify the voices of the people he has worked with, both in his professional role and in daily life, and views service on the ADA Advisory Council as a continuation of that goal.
A resident of District 7, Mr. Aaron Kelly Anderson will fill a vacancy and serve as an Individual with a Disability Representative on the Council; their first term will expire on October 30, 2028.
