I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Veterans and Military Affairs Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Resolution R-01-325, Enactment No. R-2001-141.

Conor Stavoy is a federal law enforcement officer and veteran with over seven years of combined service to the government in both the military and federal civilian service. Conor served six years in the Florida Army National Guard with one combat deployment to the horn of Africa in support of operation enduring freedom, and was called to state active duty to support Hurricane Irma relief. In 2018 Conor accepted a position in federal law enforcement with the United States Department of Energy with the duty location of Albuquerque, New Mexico. His desire to serve on the board comes from an eagerness to be an engaged resident and to be a strong advocate for fellow veterans and active duty service members.
A resident of Council District 2, Mr. Stavoy will fill a vacancy and serve as an At-Large member of the Board. His first term will expire September 2, 2023.
