Mayor's appointment of Linda Romero to the Senior Affairs Advisory Council
body
I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Senior
Affairs Advisory Council in accordance with a Joint Powers Agreement between the City of
Albuquerque, County of Bernalillo, Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and the Village of
Tijeras.

Linda has dedicated her time to volunteering at Los Volcanes Senior Center and Barelas Senior Center, where she has helped organize events, serve meals, coordinate Bingo activities, and create a welcoming environment for fellow seniors. These experiences have given her firsthand insight into the programs and services that enrich the lives of older adults and the importance of strong community connections.
As a member of the Senior Affairs Advisory Council, Linda would bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine desire to represent the interests of seniors while helping improve programs and opportunities that enhance their quality of life.
A resident of Council District 2, Linda Romero will fill a vacancy and serve as a City Representative on the Council; Her first term will expire December 31, 2027.
