Recommendation of Award for Gateway Center Security Guard Services

The Department of Finance and Administrative Services, Purchasing Division, issued the subject solicitation in conjunction with the Department of Health, Housing and Homelessness and developed an RFP for Gateway Center Security Guard Services.
The solicitation was posted on the Purchasing website on April 13, 2026 and advertised on Social Media. The number of responses received for evaluation was seven (7) with one (1) deemed non-responsive.
The Ad Hoc Evaluation Committee evaluated and scored the responses in accordance with the evaluation criteria published in the RFP. Universal Protection Services, LP was determined to have met all required criteria, was qualified, and recommended for award.
I concur with this recommendation.
The City of Albuquerque Department of Health, Housing and Homelessness will manage this contract.
