I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Bernalillo County/Albuquerque Census 2020 Complete Count Committee in accordance with
City of Albuquerque Resolution 19-117.

Mr. George V. Luj?n's experience and position with the SouthWest Organizing Project gives him the necessary skills and perspectives that will contribute to the Complete Count Committee. This includes community engagement, media and communications, collaboration, and research. Through Mr. Lujan's role with SWOP in 2010, he has coordinated Census outreach activities, and currently sits on a working group of local groups focused on Census 2020.
A resident of District 2, Mr. Lujan will serve as a City Representative on the Committee from the ordinance groups of City Organizations and Multicultural Groups. His term will expire June 30, 2020.
