I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Para
Transit Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Resolution R-14-136.

Mr. Postlethwait is totally blind, and is a frequent user of the Sunvan paratransit system. He also serves as First Vice-President of the National Federation of the Blind of New Mexico Albuquerque Chapter. Mr. Postlethwait understands the issues that people who are blind and visually impaired, as well as other people with different disabilities, face on a regular basis with transportation, and would be a great candidate for serving on this advisory board because of these qualities. |

A Non-City Resident, Mr. Michael D. Postlethwait will replace Ms. Regina Mead and serve as a Mobility Impaired representative on the Board; their first partial term will expire September 30, 2026. |
