I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Library
Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-6-1.

Mr. Konrad A. Juengling July 31, 2028 Albuquerque, NM 87112 Mr. Juengling is a non-profit grant writer whose passions include reading, book clubs, and senior cats. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sex, Gender, and Queer Studies (2014), and a master's degree in Social Work (2017). Mr. Juengling's passion for libraries began as a young child when his parents signed him up for a youth library card and encouraged him to check out whichever books he liked. He has gone on to collect signed and personalized books, including ones from President Jimmy Carter and Star Wars author Timothy Zahn. He has run two book clubs over the years and is involved in two book clubs in Albuquerque. Mr. Juengling is an advocate of library accessibility and educating the public about the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Library system's positive impact on the community. A resident of Council District 3, Mr. Juengling will fill a vacancy and serve as the District 3 representative; his first term will expire on July 31, 2028. |
